About the Opportunity

Samuel Smith & Son has an exciting opportunity for a sales manager to join their dynamic team in Perth, WA. As the sales manager, you will lead by example through achieving sales, whilst managing the sales team to drive them to continue to meet and exceed their sales, distribution and financial targets.

Your responsibilities may include;

  • Delivering profitability through sales and key account management;
  • Providing a high level of leadership and support to the sales team;
  • Maximising revenue gained through wine sales to new and existing clients;
  • Meeting with key clients in order to conduct regular business reviews; and,
  • Developing and implementing promotional programs and activities in order to enhance brand performance.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales professional who is target driven and eager to achieve, with a proven track record of success in management. You will be joining a team of driven, high performing sales representatives who are passionate about their work and the brands they sell. Your role as the sales manager will be to lead by example through increasing sales revenue, whilst supporting and managing this team so that they may continue to meet and exceed their sales targets. 

You will be an enthusiastic and motivated leader, with a friendly, hands-on approach to the way you manage your team. You will have a strong business acumen, alongside a well-developed sales nous. Ideally, you will have experience and knowledge of the food and wine industry, however candidates with strong sales, business development or account management experience will also be considered.
