About the Opportunities

Due to continued expansion, Brandis Industries has an exciting opportunity for a number of enthusiastic HV Electrical Technicians to join their team, based in Brendale, QLD.

Working as either a Technician or a Senior Technician, you will provide a range of services for low and high voltage equipment, including testing, commissioning, maintenance, installation and project management.

Brandis Industries is looking for motivated professionals with proven leadership skills with an electrical trade or engineering background.

You must hold a QLD Electrical Licence (or be eligible to attain this) along with relevant experience in interpreting electrical schematics and circuit diagrams. You will need to be experienced in the testing, repair and maintenance of HV & LV switchgear, Power Transformers and other High Voltage equipment. A good understanding of power protection schemes and associated equipment is also highly desirable, along with experience in the commissioning of HV & LV Electrical systems and Protection Relay testing.

In addition, you'll need a strong commitment to safety behaviours and culture, as well as take pride in your professional appearance and work. Excellent relationship and communication skills are important as you'll liaise with clients and customers regularly. Good computing and reporting skills are also highly regarded.

You must also hold a current, full driver's licence with a willingness to work away for periods of time when required.
