About the Opportunity

Brisbane GOC Care has a rewarding opportunity for a passionate and dedicated aged, home care package Program Manager (Aged Care) to join their team in Brisbane, QLD, with some travel to the Gold Coast required.

This role is responsible for the effective management and delivery of GOC Care's holistic, client based, aged care programs. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing support, supervision, and direction to GOC Care's employees.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

  • Managing GOC Care's home aged care program;
  • Leading, managing, and supporting an aged care, case management team;
  • Ensuring the highest level of care is provided to clients;
  • Coordinating and allocating resources within budgetary requirements;
  • Contributing to policy and program development; and
  • Managing client services.

To be considered for this position you will be able to demonstrate significant experience in the delivery of services and programs within an aged care environment. As a strong communicator, with highly developed interpersonal skills, you will be able to demonstrate your experience in leading and managing multi-skilled teams within a community services environment. Additionally, you will be able to effectively engage with staff and clients across all levels of the organisation and from diverse cultural and language backgrounds.

Importantly, you will be able to demonstrate your experience in developing and implementing strategic and operational business plans. As a strong negotiator, you will be able to effectively liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders and build strong relationships while maximising resource and collaborative opportunities. The successful applicant will have significant experience in managing teams and people whilst achieving outcomes.

Tertiary qualifications in Aged Care, Community Welfare, or similar, as well as experience in front line service delivery in an aged care environment, are seen as essential to success in the role.
