About the Opportunity
T.P. Turner has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Bundamba, QLD.
In this highly varied role you will be responsible for managing the construction team in delivering multiple, diverse projects in a timely and cost efficient manner and to the highest standards of quality.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- Managing the construction process across multiple projects;
- Overseeing and managing the financial performance of construction projects;
- Supporting and contributing to the team efforts to deliver projects;
- Providing leadership and management to a small team;
- Ensuring all projects are resourced efficiently; and
- Providing regular performance feedback on the process of projects.
To be considered for this role you will have tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering or similar construction related discipline, or equivalent trade qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will have extensive experience in managing projects, staff and subcontractors within the Civil Construction industry.
As an excellent communicator with well developed interpersonal skills, you will be able to demonstrate you leadership and management experience in dealing with a diverse range of people. The ability to efficiently delegate work activities, and effectively build a team that strives for success, is crucial to the role.
The successful candidate will be an energetic team player with ambition, excellent interpersonal skills and a "can-do" attitude. You will have plenty of initiative and be able to work under pressure. This is a relatively autonomous role, and accordingly you will be required to be highly-organised, with a demonstrated ability to execute efficient time management as well as to maintain attention to detail.
