About the Opportunity

Due to ongoing growth, ESO is looking for a talented Senior Surveyor to join their team in Frenchs Forest, Sydney, NSW.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the off-site survey management of a range of projects. Projects will include large and small-scale roadworks or building construction sites around the Sydney area. You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of 6-10 surveyors.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

  • Coordinating survey resources;
  • Supervising and reviewing the work of survey team members;
  • Liaising with clients and staff; and
  • Completing survey field work.

To be considered for this role, you will possess relevant tertiary qualifications of Australian Diploma or higher, and will have considerable demonstrated experience in coordinating and leading survey teams, particularly on large scale infrastructure projects. You’ll be extremely well versed in the use of 12D Model, and will have a wealth of practical, hands-on surveying experience.

Your strong business acumen and project management skills will allow you to effectively manage projects to ensure timely delivery with no cost overruns, and you’ll be able to take ownership of the work you do. You will be well organised, have excellent problem solving skills and demonstrate the ability to use initiative when managing competing tasks and meeting deadlines

With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will be a gifted leader, able to supervise and mentor a small team, as well as liaise with internal and external stakeholders at a wide range of levels.

A current driver’s licence is required for this role.
