HCF has an opportunity for a Receptionist & Lost Property Officer to join their team on Jetty 3 at Circular Quay. Within this role you will be responsible for reception services, managing lost property, administration support and assisting staff and the general public with enquiries.

 

Your daily duties may include, but will not be limited to;

  • Provide reception services at Jetty 3 including receiving visitors, distributing mail, producing the Daily Operations Sheet, intranet updates and other communications when required.
  • Filing/Records management as required, collect all sickness certificates/leave/concessional forms from employees and log accordingly.
  • Broad administrative support services to the Jetty 3 employees and Team Leaders in areas such as correspondence, email and intranet management and general administrative duties.
  • Co-ordinating the ordering and issuing of uniform items to operational staff.
  • Provide a comprehensive lost property management service ensuring that all lost property is appropriately itemised and where possible, returned to its rightful owner.

The successful candidate will have a high level of customer service and the ability to develop good working relationships with people from various backgrounds and in various positions across the organisation.  You will have well-developed time management skills, excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
