About the Opportunity
Richard Hogan & Co PTY LTD now has a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Cadastral Surveyor to join their team, based in Penrith, NSW.
You will be primarily responsible for conducting relevant field and office survey tasks whether residential, civil or construction, and prepare quotations when required. You'll also liaise with clients and project staff and ensure project deliverables are met.
Some of your daily tasks will include (but may not be limited to):
- Undertaking field work as required;
- Preparing plans to submit to clients;
- Supervising and mentoring younger staff;
- Liaising with clients;
- Managing projects of varying sizes; and
- Reporting back to directors on the progress of projects.
This position requires an individual who holds tertiary qualifications as a minimum, along with demonstrated cadastral surveying experience, particularly in Sydney. The successful candidate will also have experience in using a diverse range of surveying equipment, technologies and software, including Trimble Robotic Stations, AutoCAD, Landmark and CivilCAD.
Experience in a supervisory position leading and managing survey teams would be highly beneficial to this position, as you will be required to mentor and support younger staff. Additionally, proven experience in managing projects varying in size and scope will set you up for success in this role.

You'll also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to liaise confidently and professionally with clients and colleagues of all levels. Importantly, your flexible approach to working hours and excellent work ethic will ensure you complete projects in a timely and accurate manner.
