About the Opportunity

Mark Perry Commercial Furniture currently has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and driven office professional to join their Campbellfield team in the position of Administration / Sales Support Officer. This is a full-time position, 5 days per week with an early finish (3.30pm) on Fridays.

In this varied role, you'll assist the business in a variety of administrative tasks with a focus on sales support duties, ensuring Mary Perry's customers receive a smooth experience — from point of sale through to delivery and follow up.

More specifically, your duties will include (but may not be limited to):

  • Assisting with basic reception and administration tasks;
  • Liaising with clients, manufacturing and dispatch regarding deliveries; 
  • Processing customer orders and placing purchase orders with suppliers; and
  • Following up on delivery statuses with suppliers.

The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience in a similar administrative / office-based role involving the processing and management of client orders. You'll have a professional and friendly demeanor when liaising with clients and suppliers alike, and be able to manage enquiry politely and effectively — whether communicating by email, phone or in person. 

Mark Perry is seeking applications from well presented and articulate candidates who understand the importance of a smooth customer experience. You'll also consider yourself self-motivated and demonstrate a desire to excel in all that you undertake. An appreciation for design and furniture will be advantageous, but not a requirement of this role.
