About the Opportunity
Brumby's Bakery Port Douglas now has exciting opportunities for Bakery Assistants (Bakers and Pastry Chefs) to join their dynamic team in Port Douglas, QLD. These are full time roles, with flexible working hours.
Reporting to the Bakery Manager, your main responsibility will be to assist in baking quality products as per store demand.
Some of your day-to-day tasks will include (but may not be limited to):
- Baking and presenting a wide range of quality products to meet customer demands;
- Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bakery;
- Assisting the Bakery Manager with stock control and production management; and
- Providing delightful customer service as required.
Brumby's Bakery Port Douglas is seeking hardworking, enthusiastic individuals with some knowledge of baking. Experience in a similar position, such as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or assistant will be highly regarded. Although not essential, applications from qualified Bakers would be ideal.
These roles are well suited to driven candidates looking to learn and grow their careers in the baking industry. You will be motivated to succeed and be excited by the chance to develop your skills.
As you will be working mostly nights, you will need to be able to work independently. Brumby's Bakery Port Douglas is looking for reliable individuals who can be trusted to fulfil their duties with minimal supervision.
Please Note: You must be willing to work night shifts in order to be considered for this position.
