About the Opportunity
GJ's Landscapes has an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Landscape Construction Foreman to join their team in Sydney, NSW.
In this diverse and challenging role you will be responsible for managing and supervising a landscape construction team to ensure timely delivery of projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for the planning and scheduling of landscape construction works.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- Assisting and working with project managers to ensure projects are completed to a high quality and in a timely manner.
- Ensuring effective and safe use of all machinery on site;
- Managing and carrying out landscaping works;
- Ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely manner;
- Liaising with project managers on the status of ongoing work; and
- Ensuring all WH&S, quality, and environmental requirements are met.
To be considered for this role you will posses a Certificate III in Landscape Construction or equivalent, and have demonstrated experience working as a landscape construction worker. Additionally, you will have demonstrated experience in leading and managing small teams.
As a strong communicator, you will be able to liaise with clients and project managers to ensure the effective and efficient completion of projects. Importantly, you will be highly familiar with a wide range of common landscaping machinery and equipment.
Your dedication and energetic work ethic, alongside you strong customer focus, will allow you to deliver the highest standard of work, while your organisation and problem solving abilities will allow you to push through obstacles and deliver projects on time.
A current NSW driver's licence is required for this position.
