About the Opportunity

GJ's Landscapes has a highly rewarding opportunity for an inspiring Landscape Project Manager to join their team in Sydney, NSW.

In this challenging, leadership role you will be responsible for managing and supervising project teams and subcontractors on-site to ensure the timely delivery of client projects. Further to this, you will be responsible for liaising with all clients to ensure total customer satisfaction.

In this varied role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

  • Planning and establishment of a works program to ensure rigid timelines;
  • Running of weekly operations meetings;
  • Approving daily orders and subcontractor orders in line with the project;
  • Ensuring all projects comply with legislation and WHS requirements;
  • Managing quality control, defects, liabilities and handover; and
  • Running the project to budget.

To be considered for this role, you will have demonstrated experience in project management within the Landscape Construction industry and a strong confidence to manage the team on-site. 

To be successful, you must also possess a current driver's license.

Confident, and a strong communicator, you will be able to successfully liaise with clients and staff to ensure the effective and efficient completion of projects. Additionally, you will have excellent time management skills, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure, making you a clear point of reference for the staff on-site.

Your energy, passion and fervent work ethic, combined with your strong customer focus, will allow you to deliver the highest quality of work, and push through client or staff obstacles to deliver projects on time.

Microsoft Excel skills would be preferred, however GJ's is willing to train the right candidate in these skills.
