About the Opportunity

Due to growth, Farrell Engineering is hiring a full time Technical Sales Representative (HVAC) in Edmonton, Alberta.

In this key role, you will be responsible for driving inside and outside HVAC sales with new and existing customers.  

Reporting directly to the President, you will: 

  • Meet with and liaise with potential and existing clients (engineering firms, mechanical contractors, building engineers, etc.) to discuss the best solution for their heating and humidification needs; 
  • Create customized quotes; and
  • Offer and coordinate ongoing support for Farrell Engineering Sales products.

The successful candidate will have:  

  • 3-5 years of commercial or industrial experience, with at least 2 years in the HVAC industry; or 
  • A technical degree or diploma from a recognized institution.

As an approachable and interpersonal communicator, you will be expected to meet regularly with clients, in person and over the phone. Excellent organization and time management skills are imperative to your success in this role.  

We are looking for someone who has the skills and experience to diligently assist our clients in finding the best heating and humidification solutions to meet their unique needs. As such, a positive and professional demeanor is essential, as is a strong work ethic.    

Please note that the successful candidate will also be required to have a valid Driver's Licence, valid Passport and access to a reliable vehicle. Some travel may be required as part of this role.

Your first year OTE are estimated to be $80-$85K with the potential to be earning $100K+ after two years in the role.
