Peppers was established in 1984, when Peppers Guest House opened in the Hunter Valley, NSW. At the time, the "short break" market was still in its infancy but the concept of a contemporary style guest house offering relaxation in luxury surrounds was an instant success.

About Gainsdale Group
The Gainsdale Group currently operates three award-winning retreats - two under the Peppers banner located in South East Queensland and one in the Hunter Valley region, with more under development and a vision to expand.

Set on a plateau top, with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, a large section of the property is now part of the Queensland Nature Refuge Program, to protect its valuable conservation area.
About the Opportunity
As a result of rapid growth, Gainsdale Group has an exciting opportunity for a talented Interior Designer to join their established team.
The main aim of this role is to assist in the refurbishment and fit out/development of the three current Gainsdale Group's Peppers resorts, in addition to any newly acquired properties.
Ideally, an OP 6 or TE900 score is required. A degree of computer literacy and experience using relevant software programs will also be advantageous. The ideal candidate will have the ability to deal with budgets and planning.
Most importantly, you will be mature, professional and have the desire to utilise your talent and creativity in this exciting role, allowing you to develop on both a personal and professional level within a highly recognisable organisation.
The ideal applicant will have industry experience and relevant contacts from which to source products. You will be smart, capable, well organised and be able to work both independently and with minimum direction.
You will be required to travel on a regular basis to the resort sites which are up to 2 hours by car from Brisbane. You will require your own reliable mode of transport, but there will be a travel allowance provided.
Along with a clearly defined career path, the role offers an attractive remuneration package circa $50,000-$70,000 p.a. as base salary (commensurate with ability and experience) plus further incentives.
