About the Opportunity

Due to their continued growth and expansion, Geomat Engineering Pty Ltd has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Registered Surveyor to join their team based at Allambie Heights, NSW.

The role will be responsible for conducting field survey tasks whether residential, civil or construction, as well as all related office calculations and drafting. You'll also liaise with clients and project staff and ensure project deliverables are met.

The successful candidates will be tertiary qualified in surveying with a thorough knowledge of surveying programs. Experience with Leica equipment, AutoCAD and Liscad would be beneficial.

For the Registered Surveyor position your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Preparation of survey plans for registration;
  • Preparation of Identification reports;
  • Liaising with clients and consultants; and
  • Managing projects from start to completion.

Geomat Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking applications from professional, self-motivated and ambitious candidates, who can hit the ground running and effectively complete a wide range of surveying duties with minimal supervision within a close-knit team environment. You'll be reliable, well organised, have excellent problem solving skills and demonstrate the ability to use initiative when managing competing tasks and meeting deadlines. 

You'll also have strong written and verbal communication  and interpersonal skills, enabling you to liaise confidently and professionally with clients and colleagues of all levels. Importantly, your flexible approach to working hours and excellent work ethic will ensure you complete projects in a timely and accurate manner. You'll also demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development, as well as the ability to lead a field team.

Due to the nature of this role, it would be necessary for candidates to have a drivers licence.
