About the Opportunity

Green’s have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Facilitator to join their team in Glendenning, NSW. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for ensuring production targets are met and costs are maintained, whilst also ensuring the safety of all employees, labour staff and visitors to the site. You will be working in a permanent night shift role, but will however require some flexibility at times.

More specifically, your duties may include;

  • Ensuring all produced products meet established standards of quality;
  • Managing, monitoring and controlling the level of spend on all cost accounts within set budget parameters;
  • Promoting communication between Production and Maintenance teams to ensure effective teamwork;
  • Managing the performance of the night shift manufacturing team by communicating key and new performance criteria;
  • Recommending, managing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives for staff;
  • Remaining abreast of current industry trends, competitor activity and best practise; and
  • Being an active and proactive participant in the safety processes and WHS policies on site.

The ideal candidate must have proven experience and skills in leadership and management in order to effectively facilitate staff engagement and improvement. Additionally, you will have significant experience in a similar role, with a strong background in manufacturing and dry mix and blending.

You will be the escalation point for issues between staff, and therefore will need to possess strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills. You will be an influential, approachable leader who is open to manage and direct staff in a friendly and constructive manner.

You will have intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
