Recruitment Sales Consultants - In School Hours

Recruitment Sales Consultants - In School Hours

Job No: 72557
Location: Milton, Brisbane

Let’s talk about you

After taking some well-deserved time away from work to focus on raising your kids, you’re now ready to take a step back into forging your career. However, you need an employer that’s going to understand that your kids are always going to come first, and is willing to work around your commitments as a parent.

Employment Office is searching for dedicated, hard-working parents and carers who want to get back into the workforce – and not just in a job, but in a career that will continue to grow and progress as you do. Due to ongoing expansion and growth, you’ll be joining the dynamic sales team at Employment Office as a Recruitment Sales Consultant, on Park Road in Milton.

You’ll be working in a close-knit team of sales consultants, guided by an experienced team leader in order to use your professional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with existing and new clients through phone-based sales, face-to-face and web meetings, and direct marketing.

Best of all, this isn’t a typical sales or recruitment role, you won’t be doing a mountain of sales administration or working with candidates, we have teams of specialists to handle all of these areas for you. Our sales teams are free to do what they do best, and nothing else.

Whilst you might not have a history in sales, you’re definitely a dedicated and determined individual. You’ll have proven experience in either HR or recruiting, with a strong knowledge of the recruitment space. You love being covered in paint and playdough just as much as you love taking the lead and constantly achieving greater heights in the work that you do. And it’s time you got the best of both worlds again; you’ll gain the flexibility to still be able to look after your kids whenever they need you, alongside taking a step towards a well-defined career in sales.

Why Employment Office?

At Employment Office, we’re dedicated to catering to our staff and their needs, whatever they may be. You’ll be entering a family-friendly workplace where most of us have families of our own. We’re a female-dominated workplace, with an even representation of men and women on our board, alongside 97% of our staff ownership system held by our female leaders.

We’d like to offer a number of flexible working options for the right candidate in order to ensure you get the work/life balance you need. These options include starting late and finishing early, flexible working hours that can change as you need, and a laptop to allow you to work from home.

Alongside a competitive remuneration package with a lucrative commission structure that presents a realistic OTE of $60,000 - $80,000 in your first year, we’d like to offer a wide range of benefits for the right candidate. Some of these benefits include;

  • Free financial planning and advice;
  • Free health consultations;
  • Discounted travel worldwide;
  • Clearly defined career progression opportunities;
  • Monthly “Buzz” events;
  • Structured and proven training programs (Ranked #1 by BRW in 2011)
  • Free fruit and snacks delivered to the office weekly.

One of the biggest benefits of working with Employment Office is that you’ll be giving the people what they want. Candidates and employers have both wanted recruitment providers to innovate and change the traditional placement fee model for a long time, and at Employment Office, you’re doing just that. You’re working exclusively and independently with clients to collaborate with them and establish a flat fee that’s paid upfront. That means there’s a whole lot less of invoicing and a whole lot more of providing your clients with what they want.

Another benefit is the amount of support you’re given as a sales consultant with Employment Office. Because we have teams of specialists dedicated to attraction strategies, technology solutions, and selection and assessment criteria, you’re left to do what you’re really good at; business development and account management.

Finally, we also have cutting edge, user-friendly technology solutions that are driving the future of recruitment. You’ll constantly be at the forefront of the industry, meaning you’ll have confidence in every aspect of the business you’re behind.

We strive to make sure that our staff are rewarded for their dedicated hard work, as well as ensuring that we cater to their commitments and create a healthy work/life balance.

Recruitment is a pretty big deal.

And we’re not just saying that because this is a job ad. Every working person on earth with accountability for the work of others know it. If you want to achieve and exceed your goals, and outperform the competition, you need to be able to firstly attract the best talent — regardless of industry. And if you need proof, Price Waterhouse Cooper's latest CEO survey shows Australian CEO's list 'availability of key skills' as one of their top four biggest threats.

However, it’s often difficult and expensive to attract that talent. If an organisation is big enough to even have a HR department, those staff may not have the skills or resources needed — such as copywriting, conducting interviews or managing dozens upon dozens of candidate applications. And if a business decides to outsource their recruitment to a traditional agency, they often wind up paying 25% of that candidate’s salary!

But what if you could solve these problems for businesses? What if you had a suite of highly customisable products to suit any size business and recruitment need? What if those products were highly effective and transparent? And what if you could deliver it at a fraction of the cost?

Seen us recruit before? Want to know why?

Employment Office is growing, and with ambitious targets to reach by 2020, we need lots of hands on deck to get there. We invest a lot of time and money into ensuring the success of those we recruit, so we take the process very seriously, and want to ensure our message always reaches potential future sales gurus.

So if you’ve applied previously, and have since gained some more skills and experience, please do re-apply. After all, persistence makes for a great salesperson.

There's always someone to share a moment with at EO

At EO we put an emphasis on connection - not just with our clients, but also with each other. You'll find group workouts taking place in our boardroom, running and cycling buddies trailing along the river, and constant laughter throughout the office. We truly value each other's company and enjoy strengthening the bonds we continue to build.

We find these connections translate to our daily working environment where teamwork plays a key role. The success of our organisation relies on the ability of our people to work as a whole to produce exceptional outcomes.

We consider ourselves incredibly lucky that we've built a family in which we can be ourselves. Our people come from all different walks of life, but share the same mindset.

Be recognised for your contributions

We believe in rewarding effort and achievement.

At EO you'll enjoy an attractive remuneration package, comprised of a base salary plus uncapped commissions and a generous bonus scheme. You'll also enjoy a host of benefits including Global and operational mobility with our global EO network, and Fresh fruit and snacks provided in the office.

In line with our culture of recognition and reward, if you've exceeded your weekly forecast you'll receive 2 hours off the following Monday morning or that immediate Friday afternoon (your choice!). Put simply, you'll receive a total of 12 additional days off per year just for doing your job!

We also reward our top performers at monthly celebrations. Whether we're jumping on trampolines at bounce, learning to paint masterpieces, or singing karaoke, these nights allow us to celebrate our wins and take a break from the daily grind.

For those outstanding individuals that go above and beyond each month, we also host an annual, all expenses paid conference weekend in an exotic international location. In the past we've been to Vegas, Singapore, Cancun, Paris, and Hawaii to name a few. Next year we're jetting off to Japan!
