About the South Eastern Private Hospital
South Eastern Private Hospital (SEPH) is a dynamic acute medical/medical oncology/rehabilitation hospital in Noble Park. Currently a 97 bed facility (plus chemo chairs), building plans have commenced to add a 60 bed mental health unit. The vision for SEPH is to be the foremost post acute facility delivering best practice inpatient and outpatient services in the south eastern Melbourne corridor.
About the Opportunities
Healthe Care has opportunities for Associate Nurse Unit Managers to join their team based at the South Eastern Private Hospital in Melbourne.
Leading the clinical team, you will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of high quality healthcare outcomes for all patients. In addition, you will oversee the administration of the unit and manage a team of highly experienced healthcare professionals.
Your key duties will include:
- Working as part of an established team to provide exceptional care to patients;
- Liaising with other team members and key stakeholders regarding the needs of patients and the provision of services;
- Identifying areas for improvement and implement development strategies within the practice; and
- Ensuring all staff are adhering to policies and procedures.
The successful candidates will be Registered Nurses, and have a solid understanding of the duties involved in running a ward, and hold a registrations with the Nurses Board of Victoria and AHPRA. You will hold a registrations with the Nurses Board of Victoria and AHPRA. Completion of a recognised Graduate Nurse Program will be highly regarded.
Demonstrated critical thinking, communication and multi-tasking skills are vital to your success in this position.
