About the Opportunities
Groove Tiles + Stone currently have two exciting opportunities for Showroom Sales Managers to join their teams in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
Reporting to the sales director, in these roles you will primarily be responsible for leading and managing the show room sales teams, while managing the day to day operations of the stores.
Some of your main responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- Managing, training, mentoring and evaluating the sales team;
- Providing a main point of contact to key customers;
- Assisting in general customer service duties;
- Ensuring sales targets are communicated and met;
- Assisting with store promotions and strategies to increase sales; and
- Assisting other departments including admin, accounts and warehouse when required.
To be considered for these roles, you will have experience working in a supervisory or managerial position in a retail environment, ideally from a tiling on construction material background.
You'll possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to deliver exceptional customer service as well as effectively manage the team and liaise with key suppliers and customers. You'll demonstrate great empathy and a genuine desire to assist your customers with their design solutions.
You'll be driven by targets and goals, and will be able to effectively motivate your team to meet these goals. Previous experience with interior design and strong computer skills would be highly advantageous for these roles.
