About the Opportunities

Due to their continued growth and expansion, Landmark Consulting has an excellent opportunity for a Survey Manager to join their team based in Eight Mile Plains.

This role will be responsible for a range of diverse survey work on projects around the SEQ area, including residential, commercial and industrial developments.

More specifically , the duties will include:

  • Receive and action work requests
  • Maintain job register and schedule Company resources to meet client needs and expectations
  • Liaise with staff to ensure smooth workflows
  • Track project deliverables to provide timely outcomes
  • Quality control plans and calculations
  • Manage maintenance and repair of survey equipment and vehicles
  • Oversee the compilation of work instructions, searches and calculations
  • Prepare fee proposals and invoices
  • Liaise with Directors to ensure projects are correctly prioritized
  • Prepare Plan Sealing submissions including SealSMART
  • Maintain and develop Company quality assurance and procedural systems
  • Train and supervise staff

The successful candidate will be tertiary qualified and appropriately registered with SBQ (preferably with Cadastral endorsement) and have considerable experience in construction and land development projects. Additionally you'll require a working knowledge of current surveying equipment and software , including GPS, Robotic Total Stations, Autocad and 12d.

You'll be well organized and have excellent problem solving skills and demonstrate the ability to use initiative in managing competing tasks and deadlines.

You'll have well developed communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to liaise confidently with clients and their associated Consultants and Contractors, Local and State Authorities as well as Landmark Consulting staff at all levels. Importantly you'll enjoy teamwork and be able to effectively collaborate with surveying and planning specialists in your work.
