About the Opportunity

Due to their continued growth and expansion, Engineering Survey Group (ESG) has an excellent opportunity for a Registered Surveyor to join their team on a full-time basis. 

As the head Cadastral Surveyor within the organisation, you will be primarily responsible for coordinating field staff and job prioritization, calculations, checking plans and preparing fee proposals when required. Contributing to a diverse range of projects, predominently residential volume housing, land development, subdivisions, strata's and high rise projects, you'll liaise with clients and project staff and ensure project deliverables are met. 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Performing a range of cadastral surveying including, volume housing, subdivisions and strata's;
  • Engaging with Directors and Operations Managers on company growth strategies;
  • Managing multiple disciplines and surveyors at any given time, across multiple projects;

To be considered for this role you will be a Registered Surveyor in NSW (or eligible to register in NSW) and have Cadastral experience in residential, rural and commercial projects. 

Strong communication skills are essential in this position, and you will use yours to engage and liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Previous leadership experience and/or an aptitude for leading and mentoring a team will also be highly regarded. 

Most importantly, ESG is seeking applications from professional, self-motivated and ambitious candidates, who can effectively complete a wide range of surveying duties with minimal supervision within a close-knit team environment. You'll be reliable, well organised, have excellent problem solving skills and demonstrate the ability to use initiative when managing competing tasks and meeting deadlines. 

Please note: ESG will also consider candidates who are in the final stages of completing their NSW Registration process.
