About the Opportunity

City Finances's new Morayfield store is looking for an enthusiastic, committed and sales savvy Branch Lending Officer who is keen to further develop their skills and career in lending.

As a Branch Lending Officer you will be vital in supporting our Lending Division Manager and staff in the achievement of branch budgets.  City Finance will rely on our Branch Lending Officers to coordinate and take care of the sales and loans process including:

  • Conducting loan interviews
  • Collecting/collating financial information
  • Identifying and converting sales opportunities across City Finance’s personal and business loan products
  • Processing applications in our lending system to quality assurance and compliance standards
  • Liaising and working with other internal departments and external parties
  • Maintaining customer relationships 

The ideal Lending Officer is someone who:

  • Is serious about career development in Branch Management, Sales or Lending
  • Has a genuine interest in helping customers and building rapport and credibility through a professional approach
  • Has previous sales, lending or credit experience within a financial services, mortgage broking or retail banking environment
  • Competent financial analysis skills
  • Drive and commitment to achieve both personal and team targets
  • The initiative and commitment to follow processes, follow up on items and see through to completion
  • A cooperative team approach. 

Branch opening hours are Weekdays (9am-5pm), Thursdays (9am–7pm) and Saturdays (9am–1pm). Successful candidates will need some flexibility in order to accommodate these working hours.

Please note, the successful candidate must be willing to undergo a National Police Check prior to commencing in the role.
