About the Opportunity
Due to continued growth and new projects, Geosurv is seeking a Surveyor to join their dedicated team in Sydney, NSW. Reporting to the Senior Project Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out field and office functions for a wide variety of survey projects.
Some of your key duties will include:
- Meeting with clients, contractors, authorities and other stakeholders;
- Performing job site visits and field surveys;
- Performing calculations, data reduction and manipulation and preparation of sketches and plans;
- Utilising site surveying instruments; and
- Performing field duties, including civil and structural set out.
Geosurv is seeking a tertiary qualified Surveyor for a role that will suit an experienced and independent professional wanting to grow within a stable and industry-leading organisation.
Strong strategic thinking and problem solving skills will see you resolving issues as they arise, alongside consulting management for advice when required. You’ll have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders in relation to residential and commercial building requirements and regulations. Additionally, you’ll be confident working independently with minimal supervision.
Experience working with the Microsoft Office suite and surveying software AutoCAD Civil 3D and Leica Total Stations is also required, as is a strong eye for detail and the ability to work as an active team member on landmark projects.
Most of all, Geosurv are looking for candidates who have the proven technical ability and have the right reliability and attitude to put in the hard work required to complete projects while maintaining a consistently high level of service.
