About the Opportunity
Daw & Walton is now on the look out for a dedicated and enthusiastic Surveyor to join their growing team in Sydney, on a full-time basis.
Working across small and large-scale development sites throughout inner Sydney and surrounding suburbs, you will be responsible for carrying out field and office functions for a wide variety of survey projects, including:
- Cadastral and boundary definition surveys;
- Multi-storey construction set-outs;
- Monitoring and work-as-executed surveys;
- Detail-level and contour surveys; and
- Land and strata subdivision surveys.
In completing each project, your key duties will include:
- Preparing project calculations and drafts;
- Liaising with clients and external stakeholders; and
- Reducing raw field data and preparing the necessary plans and reports.
To be considered for this position you will have previous experience as a Surveyor with proficiency in survey calculations, drafting and reporting as well as the ability to work efficiently and independently under pressure. It is essential that you have the ability to meet deadlines and work to budget targets while working on multiple disciplines at one time, and you must be prepared to work across all small and large-scale sites.
Competency with CivilCad/Magnet and AutoCAD software would be highly preferable, though not essential. Most importantly, you will be an energetic and personable professional looking to develop your skills into the future with Daw & Walton.
