An exciting opportunity awaits you 

Ice River Springs is currently seeking multiple Maintenance Technicians to join our growing teams in Ontario and Quebec. Opportunities currently exist in Feversham (Barrie), Grafton (Peterborough), Halton Hills and Lachute

Working 12-hour continental shifts, you'll ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of all production equipment and assets, as well as detect irregularities and malfunctions. Flexible and dynamic, you'll respond quickly to change and use your knowledge and initiative to solve problems quickly. 

Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Performing preventative maintenance on all equipment per the schedule
  • Reading blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine how best to proceed
  • Participating in the implementation of various improvement projects
  • Repairing, installing, aligning, dismantle and moving equipment/production lines
  • Adjusting machinery and repairing/replacing defective parts
  • Cleaning, lubricating and performing machine maintenance

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional who's process-driven and detail-oriented. You'll have proven ability to work at a fast pace, adapt quickly to change and produce quality work with a sense of urgency. Most importantly, you'll share the values of our organization and inject passion, creativity, and energy into your work. 

To qualify for this role, you'll have:

  • Five years of maintenance experience in the consumer packaged goods/beverage industry
  • Experience with high-speed packaging equipment and/or Blow Molding (asset)
  • Millwright certification and/or electrical training (asset)
  • Knowledge of electrical, automation and controls
