About the Opportunity

Balco Australia is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team in Brookton, WA on a full-time basis. This role involves rotating shift work including day, afternoon and night shifts (changing weekly). 

Reporting to the Site Manager, you'll be primarily responsible for the frontline management of production personnel and the delivery of safe and timely processing of raw product to meet production and quality targets.

Some of your key duties will include, but may not be limited to:

  • Providing proactive leadership, support and encouragement to the site team (5-6 team members per shift);
  • Ensuring personal discipline and team leadership is proactive and safety orientated;
  • Ensuring production processes and environments are safely maintained to achieve production volume and quality targets;
  • Ensuring compliance with all Balco HayCare and HACCP Management system policies and requirements; and
  • Ensuring compliance with all Balco management system policies and requirements.

About You

Balco Australia is looking for a driven leader with prior management experience and the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve success. You'll be passionate about the work you do, and will be happy to jump into any task at hand.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, and will be comfortable working within an agricultural environment.

Sound knowledge of contemporary safety requirements and quality improvement tools and techniques will be required, as will strong literacy and numeracy skills. Additionally, you'll need to be competent in the use of computer programs.

Although not essential, the following would be highly regarded:

  • Current Forklife License
  • Formal qualifications in a manufacturing discipline
  • Any specialised licenses and/or permits
