In this role, you'll be responsible for the conceptualization, design, and production of promotional documents for private sales events and other events.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Strategize and create appropriate communications to best satisfy the objectives of projects
- Create and develop concepts, layout, finished art for print, web and broadcast media
- Design and create (from concept to completion), the various support literature (invitations, flyers, and ads)
- Produce innovative and high-quality print and web graphics
- Prepare final print and web files according to final destination’s specifications
- Model the culture of Absolute Results at work and at external work events
You'll do well in this role if you're well versed in layout principles and aesthetic design concepts. You'll also have exemplary proofreading skills and possess a natural drive to produce only the highest-quality work.
The Ideal Candidate
For this role, we're seeking someone who is fluent in English and French and who has a degree in graphic design, marketing, or a relevant discipline. You'll also have 1-3 years of experience in a corporate design/production environment and be proficient with Adobe CS5.
Most importantly, you'll need a tenacious spirit and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment. Self-motivated and self-driven, you'll balance multiple priorities with ease and handle difficult situations with tact, diplomacy, and professionalism. You don't rest until your clients are satisfied with the final outcome.
