About the Opportunity
Due to expansion, City Finance has an exciting opportunity for a Loans Officer to join their team in their Morayfield branch. This is a permanent part-time role, being offered with the following hours:
- Monday 9am - 2pm;
- Wednesday 9am - 2pm;
- Thursday 1pm - 7pm;
- Friday 9am - 2 pm; and
- Saturday 9am - 1pm.
Reporting to the Lending Division Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting lending operations to ensure maximum effectiveness and compliance, ensuring budgeted lending, arrears volumes, and customer service levels are achieved.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Contacting web applications in a timely manner via phone or email;
- Completing records input on Daily Settlement Checklists;
- Maintaining customer files within the Mercury system;
- Processing customer sign up and loan applications;
- Managing loan arrears, collections, and rejections; and
- Cold-calling potential leads.
City Finance is seeking a candidate with demonstrated prior experience within the lending or banking sector, although experience in other customer service based roles will be considered.
A strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritise your workload will ensure you flourish in this fast-paced, high volume position. You’ll need exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with customers in a professional, welcoming manner. A high level of computer literacy is also required for the role.
