Macfarlane Generators now has an opportunity for a Showroom Sales Manager to join their team based in Brendale, QLD.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for displaying, promoting, selling and coordinating service and repairs of small and portable generators, along with developing the retail sales department of the branch.
Some of your day-to-day duties will include:
- Ensuring company sales and other procedures are adhered to;
- Performing showroom duties including stocking, labelling, testing, tagging, and ensuring there are no vacant spaces;
- Attending to any customer enquiries and issues within a timely manner; and
- Actively seeking new business opportunities for the company.
What you'll need
- A current Manual Drivers license;
- Power generation experience, or an electric trade background;
- Proven sales experience and commercial skills;
- Customer sales experience and the willingness to assist customers effectively and efficiently; and
- Common sense, self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously.
In addition, the ideal candidate will be well presented with excellent communication skills, and have the ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a cheerful and cooperative manner. You'll be computer literate allowing you to maintain accurate paperwork.
A current manual driver's licence is essential for this role, as you may be required to move an RV type vehicle on the premises.
