About Steamers Bar and Grill
Steamers Bar and Grill is a 300 seat bar and restaurant overlooking Wollongong's spectacular waterfront. Offering a communal style dining experience, showcasing some of the regions finest produce, the Steamers menu features organically grown ingredients from their farm located in Jamberoo. Dishes also include wild caught seafood and dry-aged organic cuts of meat.
Steamers also has a well-defined bar offering a wide variety of high-quality spirits, Australian and international wine, innovative cocktails, and a selection of craft beers.
About the Opportunity
Steamers Bar and Grill is now seeking Expressions of Interest from Chefs with expertise in Thai, Middle Eastern, Spanish, Italian or Greek cuisines, to join their team based in Wollongong.
As an integral part of the Steamers Bar and Grill team you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding dining experience to guests, while working with the team to produce excellent dishes to maintain and improve the high standard of guest experience.
All applicants should be fully qualified Chefs, ideally with a history working in fast-paced dining establishments. You'll be well versed in a variety of cooking techniques, and will have a fine eye for detail to ensure every dish is immaculately presented. You will have a passion for food which will shine through your work, and you will be pleased to work with regularly changing menus that highlight the freshest local produce.
With a strong focus on providing the best possible international cuisines to its customers, Steamers Bar and Grill will be open to providing sponsorship to the right candidates who are applying from overseas and/or do not currently have the right to live and work in Australia.
