About the Opportunity

Sapphire Coast Community Aged Care Group now has an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced and hands-on Chief Executive Officer to join their executive team in Bega, NSW, on a full-time basis.

Accountable to the board of directors, this rewarding senior role will see you leading and directing the affairs and activities of Sapphire Coast Community Aged Care Group in accordance with the lawful directions of the board. In addition to this, you will ensure the profitability and prosperity of the companies by diligently pursuing the organisation's vision, mission and strategies. 

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing effective overall leadership and management of the organisation and it's operational units;
  • Creating an organisational culture that supports excellence in care to older people and respects the rights and confidentiality of residents and their families;
  • Monitoring and reviewing annual budgets and monthly budgetary performance reports;
  • Developing and monitoring appropriate plans and strategies within timeframes determined by the board; and
  • Improving the skills and knowledge of staff - ensuring they are able to undertake their work efficiently and effectively. 

About You

To succeed in this position, you will need relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Health Management or an equivalent and relevant field. Significant experience working at a senior management level is also essential, and you'll have prior experience working with a multidisciplinary team, ideally in an aged care setting.

Sapphire Coast Community Aged Care Group is seeking applications from proven leaders with experience working with a broad range of organisational activities, including human, physical and resource management. A background in financial management, program management and community development will be vital, as is demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective management and cultural transformation systems. You will possess the proven ability to shape strategic thinking, communicate with influence and make sound decisions, whilst achieving results.
