About the Opportunity. 

Fraser Valley Office Systems and Okanagan Office Systems are both currently seeking driven and motivated Business Development Managers who are looking to grow their career with a leading technology provider in both the Fraser Valley and Kelowna, BC. 

If you consider yourself to be a business-minded entrepreneur, an ambitious 'go-getter' and a future team leader, this is an ideal opportunity for you! We are looking for someone with proven sales experience who wants to run their own business without the burden of managing overheads. In this role, we simply want you to focus on what you do best - closing sales and building relationships.  

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Contributing to the sales strategy by identifying, growing and closing business opportunities;
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining strategic account sales plans to grow revenue from new and existing accounts; 
  • Driving all aspects of the full and complex sales cycle, from lead generation to account management; 
  • Maintaining knowledge of software applications, managed services, features and benefits of all equipment; 
  • Attending training and workshops to increase product, services and pricing knowledge. 

To qualify for this role, you will be a top sales performer with a passion for technology and innovative business solutions. Previous industry experience is an asset, but not essential for success in this role. What is essential is the ability to source quality business leads and create lasting client relationships. To do this, you will be a superior communicator, a creative problem solver, and an assertive decision maker. Most importantly, you are someone who sets the bar high and who demands results. You also know how to have fun along the way.

Please note that travel to client sites is a requirement of this role, and a valid drivers' license is also needed.
