Patches Asphalt is a family owned and run business employing in excess of 30 local people. They are one of the Capital Region’s most experienced and respected road surfacing and maintenance companies and have been operating throughout Canberra and surrounding regions since 1995.
Together with their key personnel and skilled workforce they offer services from small patching maintenance jobs, car parks, driveways, tennis, netball and basketball courts, to large projects such as subdivisions, highways, arterial, urban road works and everything in between.
About the Opportunities
Due to a recent growth period, Patches Asphalt has several exciting opportunities available for HC and HR Truck Drivers to join their dedicated team in Queanbeyan, NSW on a full-time basis.
You will be responsible for completing commercial and civil projects in laying and spraying sealing asphalt through the NSW and Canberra regions. You will be contributing to all crew tasks as necessary to deliver a quality product in a safe environment.
The ideal candidates for the Truck Driver roles will hold a current Heavy Vehicle or Heavy Combination driver's licence, ideally with experience in asphalt or spray seal road surfacing. It will also be highly desirable that you have a White Card, Asbestos Awareness and/or Dangerous Goods tickets.
Most of all, Patches Asphalt are looking for applicants who have a strong work ethic, an energetic and positive attitude and an eagerness to learn and grow.
