About the Opportunity

Arris Projects has an exciting leadership opportunity for an experienced Production Foreman to join their team in Tingalpa, Brisbane on a full-time basis.

This role will be solely responsible for overseeing factory operations. Some of your daily duties will include:

  • Managing all aspects of production from inception to completion;
  • Completing projects within time and budget constraints;
  • Developing work programs for all assigned jobs;
  • Managing all OH&S issues;
  • Preparing training plans for apprentices;
  • Managing Factory Staff including recruitment and overtime; and
  • Ensuring machinery and vehicles are maintained.

What You'll Need

Arris Projects is seeking driven candidates with demonstrated experience in factory operations within a fast-paced construction or manufacturing production environment. It's important you also have a strong understanding of process and production, and have the ability to meet set targets.

A confident and inspiring leader, you'll have a background in people management with an aptitude for motivating others to achieve success. Your ability to delegate tasks successfully, along with your excellent negotiation and communication skills, will ensure your ability to effectively manage a team. You will also have a natural ability to build rapport with a variety of stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors. 

Additionally, you'll be competent in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, be well organised and possess the ability to manage competing tasks and priorities. Your attention to detail will be top-notch, with a keen eye for ensuring all work is top of the line.

Although not essential, any experience with architectural joinery would be an advantage.
