Your new career

Little Aussie Directories has a newly created opportunity for a dedicated Account Manager to join their dynamic team in Canning Vale, Perth, on a full-time basis. Please note this is an office-based role.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing key accounts of local business owners, through nurturing existing relationships, whilst also building and establishing relationships with new businesses as they come onboard.

Some of your areas of responsibility will include:

  • Being the lead point of contact for new and established clients;
  • Helping clients to become a trusted local business in their community area;
  • Effectively managing and coordinating clients print artwork and online content;
  • Maintaining long-term relationships/retention of your clients;
  • Handling any concerns and offering advice, insight and solutions; and
  • Asking for referrals and testimonials to help build and grow the business

On offer is an attractive base salary of $68,000 plus super, plus on target bonuses of $17,000. Additionally, you will be joining a tight-knit and social team who enjoy frequent team building activities and career development opportunities. 

What we need from you

Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills will ensure you are constantly providing clients with exceptional customer service. Your persistence and determination, alongside strong interpersonal skills, will mean you're well-equipped to establish strong working relationships.

Your confidence and ability to connect, and develop a rapport with business owners is crucial. After all – you’ll be speaking with them about key areas of their business. It's easier when you can 'speak their language'! Additionally, your mental agility and capacity to offer reassurances to your clients will allow you to meet your retention targets, while meeting the needs of your clients. 

In this highly-supported position, you will have the chance to receive comprehensive training and development throughout your career. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite is essential, as well as the use of a CRM, and therefore you will be tech savvy. This will be complemented by your ability to prioritise competing deadlines, and stay organised and detail- oriented at all times.
