Due to an exciting growth period, Cyanergy now has an opportunity for a Compliance Manager to join their Point Cook team on a full-time basis. 

Reporting to the Managing Director and managing a team of 4-5 Compliance Officers, this position is primarily responsible for managing the day-to-day compliance workload, ensuring all deadlines and commitments of the compliance team are met and that the organisation is meeting all regulatory requirements. 

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing performed works and conduct QA calls to ensure processed operations are in line with current compliance process and policy guidelines;
  • Maintaining compliance procedures and protocols to ensure effective systems/processes are in place to identify risk;
  • Managing the team's workflow planning, review the team's work and identify training needs; and
  • Providing expert solution to the problems related to compliance and regulatory issues using analytical skills where needed.

To be successful in this position you will have tertiary qualifications in Risk Management, Compliance or similar; previous experience within a similar compliance role; and a solid understanding of Quality Assurance & Compliance adherence process and policy, preferably under the VEET & ESS scheme. As you will be leading a team, previous leadership experience is also required, ideally in a compliance environment, although all leadership experience will be considered.  

Cyanergy is looking for an enthusiastic, analytical and driven individual who has a strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and the ability to provide expert solutions to the problems related to compliance and regulatory issues. A diplomatic communicator, you will be good at relationship building and comfortable in working with relevant governmental stakeholders to ensure claims are processed smoothly and in reasonable time frames.
