About the Opportunity
Samuel Smith & Son now has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operator to join their team in Welshpool, Perth, WA on a permanent part-time basis.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you'll primarily be responsible for performing day-to-day administrative and organisational warehouse operations in this hands-on role.
Some of your key responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
- Accurately receiving in, picking, packing and dispatching deliveries and orders;
- Ensuring general operational tidiness of stock, facilities and warehouse;
- Liaising with warehousing and administration staff;
- Ensuring quality and OH & S standards are maintained; and
- Completing daily logs and assisting with regular stock take.
Is this the Role for You?
To be successful in this role, you will have prior warehouse experience and a current forklift licence. Samuel Smith & Son are looking for candidates with moderate computer skills and experience, ideally with some experience using digital logistics systems.
Importantly, you'll be driven, reliable, punctual and have a great attitude towards work and the challenges along the way. You'll be eager to take on tasks and responsibilities and further develop your position.
Most of all, you will be a loyal, motivated and enthusiastic self-starter who has excellent attention to detail and is able to work unsupervised within a close-knit team environment. A positive approach and good communication skills will set you up for success in this role.
