About your new role
Due to an exciting growth period, AEV Architects now has an opportunity available for an Architect to join their busy team in Spring Hill, Brisbane, on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Senior Architect, this role will be primarily responsible for producing drawings and designs for a range of clients, and managing the life cycle of the projects from design inception to approval and completion.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Producing all construction documentation and drawings for a variety of project works;
- Liaising with project team members to facilitate requirements and resolve any arising issues;
- Planning, organising, implementing, and coordinating of architectural works;
- Liaising directly with clients to ascertain project requirements; and
- Providing contracts administration support to lead architects for project delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have relevant tertiary qualifications within this field and be proficient in speaking Mandarin. In addition, you will have substantial experience within a similar senior role, with the ability to use ArchiCAD. Acting as a first point of contact for your clients, you'll have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both clients and subcontractors in a professional and helpful manner.
This fast-paced role requires a candidate who can hit the ground running, managing competing priorities and working within tight deadlines. It goes without saying that you will have strong attention to detail, be well presented and be confident in your communication skills when liaising with clients, consultants, and other internal stakeholders.

The ability to speak Mandarin would be highly regarded for this role.
