About the Opportunity
Pensar now has an exciting full-time opportunity for an innovative and energetic Project Engineer/Manager - Land Subdivision Construction to join their team based in South Brisbane.
Reporting to the Construction Manager of Urban Development, you will provide technical assistance and support to the Urban Development Construction team. You will also provide engineering support to all Urban Development projects (typically up to 4 sites).
Some of your day to day responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
- Reviewing design drawings to identify any potential issues;
- Developing and proposing design alternatives;
- Liaising with contract administrators and project supervisors;
- Identifying and resolving any on-site technical issues;
- Issuing daily correspondence to clients and project teams to inform them of key activities and progress; and
- Developing and monitoring job progress.
To be successful in this position you must have a high-level of experience in project management of Urban Development projects in SEQ.
In addition, you will have a degree in Civil Engineering (preferably from an SEQ University), an RPEQ, and be proficient in the design of Urban Development projects using Autocad.
Whilst not essential, previous experience in the construction industry and access to quality Urban Development business networks will be highly regarded.

As you will be acting as a support network for the Urban Development Construction team you will have a positive and energetic outlook, the ability to take direction and work autonomously, and have high-level IT / tech skills. You will also need to be a strong team player and be comfortable navigating a variety of different personalities.
