About the Opportunity

Gardner Vaughan Group now has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Marketing Assistant to join their team on a 6-month contract basis in Nundah, QLD.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting and working within the Marketing team to ensure successful outcomes of all marketing campaigns. 

Some of your responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Working with the Marketing Co-Ordinator to develop marketing material requirements (print, EDM, and Web);
  • Preparing artwork for Ads, Signage, and Bannermesh as well as manage outsourced design work;
  • Checking and proofreading final artwork for content and design accuracy prior to final sign-off;
  • Maintaining campaign schedules and overseeing timely production;
  • Assessing the results of marketing campaigns and compiling reports;
  • Assisting with the development of focused marketing campaigns;
  • Ensuring brand integrity, accuracy and legal compliance is maintained;
  • Administering and executing EDM's and web campaigns;
  • Regularly maintaining website updates/changes for each project; and
  • Weekly updates to re.com/domain advertisements.

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a similar position and hold a tertiary qualification in business or commerce majoring in marketing or communications.

You will also be a self-motivated individual with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, and a proven passion for the marketing industry.

Additionally, you will have a strong understanding of marketing principles, previous exposure to copywriting and design, and intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Successful candidates will also be proficient with graphic design software such as indesign and Photoshop. Previous experience with web editing software or basic HTML will be highly regarded.
