About the Opportunity
Negociants New Zealand now has a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Support Officer to join their team on a full-time basis in Greenlane, Auckland.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a superior level of customer service and sales support whilst representing Negociants and the Company's portfolio in a professional manner.
Your key duties will include (but will not be limited to):
- Responding and following up on customer queries in a timely fashion;
- Advising stock availability;
- Developing good customer relationships/rapport;
- Accurately processing orders - product, vintage, volume, price and delivery instructions;
- Thoroughly reviewing orders;
- Maintaining pricing contracts, special promotional pricing and allocations;
- Monitoring stock requirements; and
- Providing timely feedback to Area Managers and/or the Management team on customers, sales, stock and reporting issues.
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in a similar position and a strong understanding of inventory management. As you will be representing Negociants in a manner consistent with The Yalumba and Negociants New Zealand Charter you must also have exceptional customer service skills.
The successful candidate will have the ability to effectively prioritise tasks and display excellent time management skills to ensure duties are being completed by set deadlines.
Negociants New Zealand receives a high volume of orders a week (almost 700) and as such, the ideal candidate will need to be a self-motivated and thorough team player who has the ability to think outside the box and keep calm under pressure.
While not essential, previous experience using the Oracle or JD Edwards systems and some wine knowledge will be highly regarded.
Please note: General working hours are between 8:30 and 17:00, however, there will be times where employees will need to be available from 6:30 - 15:00.
