About the Opportunity
Ruralquip now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Parts Interpreter - Industrial Supplies to join their team on a full-time basis in Ayr, Qld.
In this role, you would be primarily responsible for providing exceptional customer service to new and existing customers.
You will also oversee company inventory and manage product groups. Part of this will be managing and coordinating store merchandising.
Your key duties will include (but will not be limited to):
- Proactively selling parts to customers;
- Ensuring all stock within the company is accounted for;
- Efficiently and correctly reporting of stock in the computer system;
- Facilitating rolling stock takes;
- Professionally controlling all parts inventory, in conjunction with the Ruralquip team and Managing Director;
- Liaising with the sales representatives and suppliers; and
- Keeping your product knowledge current.
To be successful in this role, you must have demonstrated experience in a similar role and a background in the mechanical, compressor or industrial sales industry.
You will also have exceptional communication and personal presentation skills and have the ability to provide customers with accurate, genuine and appropriate advice and service at all times.
Candidates with extensive industrial product knowledge will be highly regarded.
