About the Opportunity
Truck Zone is seeking an experienced Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic/Foreman (Truck and Transport) to join their team in Bonnyville, Alberta in this key leadership position.
As our ideal candidate, you are a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic with at least 3 years of experience. Along with the ability to communicate effectively, you are able to delegate and manage workloads to ensure your team is motivated and engaged to work to their highest level. You must also be CVIP Certified. A Journeyman Automotive Mechanic ticket would also be an asset but is not required.
You will also possess:
- Engine diagnostics experience (asset only)
- The ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
- The ability to recognize opportunities for improvements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A clean Drivers Abstract
- A class 1 Driver's License (asset only)
- Previous leadership experience (asset only)
Above all, you will have a strong customer service focus and have the ability to work under pressure and with tight schedules. The ability to lead a team and supervise other mechanics will be a major focus of this role.
