About the Opportunity

Foxridge Homes currently has an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented Warranty Technician to join our team in Metro Vancouver, BC on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Warranty Supervisor, you will act as a liaison between Foxridge Homes and homeowners in order to contribute to the success and effectiveness of our projects.

While you will spend the majority of your time in the field, you will occasionally be required to come into our office in Surrey for meetings. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining positive and professional customer experience, communication, and expectations during the Warranty period and beyond
  • Establishing proper warranty expectations with every client by communicating throughout the process
  • Managing scheduling and timely completion of warranty requests for every client
  • Documenting and tracking all client services through completion
  • Monitoring and managing trades for responsiveness, professionalism, and quality of work performed
  • Ensuring quality standards are met on all service and warranty issues
  • Ensuring that all root causes of issues are identified and reported
  • Ensuring that all processes and administrative procedures are followed consistently, completely, and accurately
  • Repairing warrantable deficiencies from homeowner service requests i.e painting, ceiling, touch ups, filing, sanding, caulking, adjusting doors, drawers or any other items as required
  • Troubleshooting and installing miscellaneous items as required
  • Supervising trades during completion of service work
  • Performing various labour-related tasks and/or other service and warranty duties as required

In order to qualify for this role, you will have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of 3 years of experience in new home construction. You must also have the ability to complete drywall, painting and carpentry tasks and be proficient in Microsoft Office. A valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract are required.

Above all, you will have the ability to positively represent Foxridge Homes and communicate effectively with both customers, trades, and members of our team. Similarly, strong organizational and decision-making skills, along with the ability to work independently are essential.
