As one of the fastest growing dealerships in the Sunraysia region, they provide highly competitive service and sales for all makes and models of trucks and coaches. Their new facility in Mildura has some of the latest technology and equipment in truck and coach repairs and servicing.
About the Opportunity
Due to a recent growth period, Johnson's Truck & Coach Service has a great opportunity for a Spray Painter to join their dealership in Mildura, VIC, performing spray painting and repair work on a wide range of small and large trucks.
Day-to-day, your responsibilities will include:
- Grinding and sanding repaired surfaces;
- Quoting retail and insurance jobs;
- Repairing minor and major accident and corrosion damage;
- Measuring, realigning and repairing upper body and under frame structures; and
- Stripping, fitting, painting and spraying vehicles.
The ideal applicant will have previous experience in a Body shop or Accident Repair Centre, and be competent in vehicle spray painting. Ideally you will have previous panel beating experience, however this is not mandatory.
Johnson's Truck & Coach Service is looking for candidates with strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and customers. You'll have excellent time management skills and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team, while taking full responsibility and ownership of your role and workload.
