About Your Role

Kookaburra Educational Resources is actively seeking their next Sales Representative - Brisbane South to deliver superior sales development and customer service to the education market.

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for developing customer relationships through cold calling, lead generation, demonstration and implementation of audio visual, robotic equipment whilst always expanding sales opportunities through the entire range. 

This is a mobile and dynamic role that reports directly to and works closely with, the National Sales Manager. Based out of a home office, this role requires you to be prepared to be highly mobile in servicing the Brisbane south, Beenleigh and west to Ipswich markets.

You will be required to prepare for and deliver high-quality demonstrations of products for education facilities, department heads and larger groups through conferencing.

More specifically, your day-to-day responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):

• Developing new relationships through cold calling, lead generation and demonstration of product;
• Product demonstration and presentation;
• Attending conferences to promote the company and products;
• Attending training sessions on new and exciting product lines; and
• Producing sales results to drive the designated territory forward.

Who We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have the ability to present and demonstrate a wide range of products in a professional manner for a varied client base. 

You must be a highly motivated and energetic self-starter who possesses strong interpersonal, negotiation, organisational and leadership skills. You will also be an effective team player who focusses on achieving results.

Although not essential, experience in the education market will be held in high regard.

Please note: You will be required to drive a van (similar to a Hyundai iload, Renault Traffic etc..) to enable you to provide the services that will empower you to achieve at a high level.
