About the Opportunity

Cambridge Management Services is looking for passionate and customer focused individuals to join their Sydney team as full-time Building Managers. These roles are available for an immediate start. 

Reporting to the Branch Manager - NSW, the Building Manager is responsible for ensuring all facets of a building complex are running smoothly at all times. This calm professional will act as the first point of contact and the conduit between suppliers, owners, residents and the Cambridge Management Services executive team. 

This role will require you to have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to engage with stakeholders of all role types and backgrounds. 

As someone who loves taking ownership of a role, your duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Being the first point of contact for owners, residents and suppliers;
  • Managing the administrative functions of the building;
  • Participating in the Owners Corporation meetings;
  • Responding to and resolving issues amongst stakeholders; and
  • Maintaining or coordinating the repair of facilities.

Please Note: You must be willing to be available for emergency services and ‘after hours’ calls from time to time.

Cambridge Management Services is looking for a collaborative "people person" who's willing to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in to whatever situation the day throws at them. It's an exciting role, with plenty of variety and autonomy; as such, it would suit an individual with a background in Hotel or Venue management, Real Estate and Property Management, Facilities Management or you might be an administration professional or former tradesperson looking for a new challenge.

Importantly, you'll be representing the Cambridge Management Services brand and your professional attitude coupled with confident communication style will ensure that all matters are handled effectively for stakeholders. 

A reasonable level of computer literacy is essential to ensure your success in this position, while an understanding of working with large scale facility repairs would be advantageous.
