About Boyle, Alberta

Boyle is located 160 km north of Edmonton on Highway 63 at a terrain ‘pinchpoint’ (lakes & hills!) where, in a 10km wide swath, the main highway to Ft McMurray, the CN Railway to Ft McMurray, and 4 pipelines all come together...(more pipelines are planned and Hwy 63 will soon be twinned by the province).

A New Opportunity Awaits

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in Boyle, Alberta. 

Working within a small HR team, you will collaborate with team members and leadership to drive key human resources functions including workforce planning, employee relations, recruitment, compensation, organizational effectiveness, performance management, and training.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Taking a lead role in Training and Development activities
  • Attending external Human Resources activities (as needed)
  • Promoting and supporting positive employee relations and an environment of open communication and trust
  • Providing support in all areas of the Human Resources business unit

For this role, we are seeking someone with a minimum of 5 years of Human Resource Generalist experience. Candidates with some post-secondary education and/or a CPHR designation are preferred. 

To succeed in this role, you will also demonstrate: 

  • Proven leadership skills in a team setting and the ability to operate objectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience with training and development, including classroom training
  • Experience with performance management
  • The ability to work across and perform a range of HR functions

You will be a great fit if you are a team player with the ability to work with all levels of the organization and work independently when required. You must have the ability to self-manage and have a high level of accountability. Please note that some weekend and evening work may be required.
