Due to growth in the Australian market, Student Horizons now has a fantastic opportunity for a Sales Executive! This is a full-time role where you will receive a base salary $60,000 plus generous car allowance $10,000 and uncapped commissions, bringing your first year OTE up to the $80,000 + mark!

About your new role...

This is much more than your 'normal' corporate sales role! 

In this role, your main responsibility will be to acquire new business for Student Horizons by generating client proposals, face-to-face meetings, some telephone sales, and account management. 

A typical week in the life of a Student Horizons Sales Executive will look like this:

  • Power hour - cold calling sessions twice a week;
  • On the job training sessions with the Managing Director;
  • Generating new leads;
  • Managing your existing clients;
  • Attending team business meetings;
  • Creating powerpoint presentations for face to face school meetings; and
  • Attending information evenings at various schools.

About You

To be successful in this role you must have proven sales experience in a similar role.

As Student Horizons provides music, sporting, and educational based tours, it is desirable that you have a tertiary qualification. Previous experience within the education and/or educational travel industry will be highly regarded.

Most importantly, you will be a self-motivated go-getter who thrives on hitting sales targets and KPI's! You'll love the Student Horizons product, love talking about it, and take any opportunity you can to promote it. 

As such, it is paramount that you are able to build rapport with a variety of clients including, teachers, school administration staff, and parents. Exceptional interpersonal skills and professional presentation will be paramount to your success in this role.

You will also have a real passion for travel and a dedication to ensuring that students have safe and unforgettable experiences.

Candidates with CRM experience will also be held in high regard.

Please note: Candidates need to hold a current driver's licence and be willing to obtain a criminal history and working with children check.

You will also receive generous, uncapped commissions - expected first year OTE's will bump your annual salary up to $80,000+ and second-year OTE's are circa $100,000+!
