About the Opportunity

Solar Brokers Canada has an excellent opportunity for results-driven Sales Manager - Retail Sales Team Lead to join our teams in Edmonton, Calgary and Saskatoon.

As a Team Lead (Coach), you will be the contact point for all retail sales representatives in your territory, so your communication skills should be excellent. You should also be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration. Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve goals.

Solar Brokers Canada has partnered up with a big box retail store , we now have digital interactive solar kiosks in their retail stores! Our retail sales agents are responsible for educating potential clients in the store, championing the Solar Brokers brand and ultimately generating qualified client leads in store while utilizing our digital kiosks as a marketing tool.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
  • Set clear team goals
  • Oversee day-to-day operation
  • Monitor team performance and report on metrics
  • Motivate team members
  • Discover training needs and provide coaching
  • Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
  • Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments
  • Encourage creativity and risk-taking
  • Suggest and organize team building activities
  • Step in and help generate client leads in store if required

What You Bring To The Table:

A sales shark and rock star to help establish our new sales team in Alberta! A person with a “go-getter” attitude that's hungry for success and professional development! An individual that has a passion for coaching, managing, and developing sales agents for success.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a sales team lead or supervisory role
  • Experience in recruiting and training sales teams is considered an asset
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in full cycle sales
  • Experience in D2D sales is considered an asset
  • Strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills
  • Personable and charismatic individual who has the drive to encourage people to be part of a positive change such as solar
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Heavily driven by commission based incentives
  • Has the desire to have a long-term career in energy sales
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
