About the Role

MSA National is now looking to welcome a motivated and customer focussed Administrator (Mortgage Settlement) to join their Sydney team on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an intelligent and eager individual to kick-start their career within a national, well-respected organisation.

In this busy and stimulating role, you will be primarily responsible for the efficient execution of all aspects of the mortgage settlement process including actively supporting adherence to Service Level Agreements between MSA National and its clients.

This is a high-volume role that will see you managing a pipeline of files at varying stages of the process and coordinating multiple settlements per day.

More specifically, some of your day-to-day duties will include (but will not be limited to):

  • Communicating with both corporate clients and borrowers, solicitors, insurers, and other lenders;
  • Checking completed mortgage documentation;
  • Preparing available balances, ensuring all costs are collected for both client and MSA and obtaining cheque directions;
  • Preparing certification and forwarding to lender;
  • Booking settlement and preparing settlement instructions; and
  • Preparing and forwarding of post-settlement letters to client and borrower.

To be successful in this position, candidates need to have completed a Year 12 Certificate. Candiates with tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded, however this is not essential.

As this role requires you to manage multiple settlements and files, it is essential that you are able to work effectively in a high-pressure environment. You will also have exceptional resilience, attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and efficient multi-tasking skills with sound MS Office experience.

While not essential, candidates who have previously worked in mortgage processing, insurance claims or banking call centres will be held in high regard.

This position is a busy, hands-on role, working Monday to Friday, where you may be required to work after business hours.
